Q: Arthritis pain relief for 6 year old Black Lab?
My black lab, Reilly, suffers from arthritis in his right hip. With the colder weather, he seems to limp more and have more inflammation in the area. Is there anything that a vet can prescribe to relieve these symptoms? Any natural treatments?

A: You could try the human device actipatch. The company is in the process of developing it for the veterinary market as well…but currently its only for humans (it is the same device). Read more about it at www.actipatchpaintherapy.com or www.actipatchstore.com. It is completely natural and safe.

I would recommend you get AIM Frame Essentials. I have posted an article on my blog about the amazing effects of Glucosamine, which also has my own personal experience with taking the AIM Frame Essentials. This product is for me the best natural pain reliever. It is perfect for any joint problems and those that I have recommended it to, have had knee problems vanish and even got a man to stop limping. Frame Essentials is known to:

they may open up collateral blood circulation to provide adequate blood supply to the joints. Boswellic acids have been known to reduce joint swelling, maintain blood supply to inflamed joints, maintain mobility, and reduce pain due to stiffness in the joints. They also have no side effects.

Also, the product AIM BarleyLife, which has a link below. In the video there is a short testimonial of somebody that overcame rheumatoid arthritis. BarleyLife is in tune with our blood and will cleanse your blood of toxins and will give you the nutrients your body needs for living a healthy life.

All these products can be ordered by going to the “ORDER AIM” on my website. In order to get the AIM products at wholesale prices, you will need to become an AIM Member. AIM membership is Free, when you purchase products with a BVP value of 50 points. A: I have learned that water aeorbics has helped considerable. I also take a prescription called Relafen. It is an antiimflammatory. The best thing about it is I don’t have any side effects. Good Luck

Q: Rheumatoid arthritis pain relief?
My mom has advanced stage RA and her doctor has told her to stop taking Naprosyn/naproxen and to try other pain relief. Any suggestions? Her doc told her to try tylenol but it does nothing. Can anyone suggest some other type of pain reliever that we can speak to the doctor about? Thanks!

A: If you are in cold country use all warm things.
Steam and hot water bath will help.
Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is good thing, pl try.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I treat it with our SHREE SWASTHYAYOG THERAPY, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don’t treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid all cold things, worry, tension, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING.

All hot things, fresh meat and soups, clove, garlik, ginger etc, Sweet foods, COCOANUT ,sweet fruits like dates, milk, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help.

Q: Is taking CVS Arthritis Pain Relief with anti-depressants and aspirin bad?

A: CVS is just a low dose of tylenol. and i believe your already on low dose aspirin to treat arthritis. While combining the two will not be toxic it will reduce the effectiveness of your drug regime… You should choose either the CVS or jsut the aspirin for arthritic pain relief as together the aspirin will no longer have the anti-inflammatory effect your taking it for.

Two other things of note if you decide to take all three drugs at once; It is important to tell your prescribing doctor EVERYTHING that your taking and do NOT mix these drugs with alcohol it would be very bad to say the least.

Q: Any information on pain relief of arthritis using marijuana?
My wife’s doctor told her he cannot help her anymore. For pain relief he prescribed Vicodin. It helps but she would like to use marijuana as a tea and see if it helps. Both of us are non-smokers and have had no experience with marijuana. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

A: In a Medical Marijuana (MMJ) State your wife needs to ask the Dr. to sign a recommendation form. The Dr. should understand that pharmaceutical pain killers do not allow everyone to have a quality of life. A State that allows MMJ has a form online that she can present to the Dr. After registering as an MMJ patient I would grow the medicine. Search the Internet for Tea recipes ( I’d suggest BudTer and make some cookies). There are co ops and local groups that help patients with home grown medicine. Dispensaries are available in MMJ States for medicine purchases. Ingesting MMJ can take up to 2 hours to reach all the extremities. It does give a more all over body relief but slowly. Using MMJ means experimenting with dose and frequency. Also look at a vaporizer which delivers the instant relief and is not ’smoking’ detrimental.

Q: Are there any natural forms of pain relief for a dog with arthritis?
My 8 year old husky has arthritis in her hips, are there any natural forms of pain relief that might help her? Massage, herbs, etc?
I ask because my dog has been on both Rimadyl (spelling?) and Deramax and they both make her throw up, so I was just wondering if there was something natural that would help her.

A: “Natural”? Do you mean drug-free options? If so, look into glucosamine/chondroiton supplements. Ask your veterinarian about dosing for her, and where to get it.

Q: Just put arthritis pain relief cream on my toothbrush- any one else mistake one product for another?
Label states:do not use with heating pad-same goes for hot coffee.

A: once, i accidently spray a shit load of tile floor adhesive into my hair..i was at my friends house (getting ready for a date, mind you) and her boyfriend was fixing the floor earlier in the day and left the can on the sink…it looked just like a big bottle of aqua net hair spray.. yip, i flipped my hair upside down to get that puffy look (popular in the 90’s) and realized that it was waaaayyy sticker than it should have been!!
my friend and i scrubbed my head for like an hour and still i wound up pulling clups of glue out of it for days, it SUCKED!

Q: OSTEO ARTHRITIS PAIN RELIEF?
Are there any HERBAL REMEDIES that anyone has found to be effective in easing the pain of OSTEO ARTHRITIS

A: Hello,

I am not a doctor but speaking of HEBAL remedies, you may want to have a look at those products, in particular the joint formula:

http://www.healthcare-boutique.com/product/overview/Joint_Advance/

All the products are 100% natural, herbal ingredients. I have not used the joint formula but I have used a number of other products for women’s health and I have been very satisfied.

All the best!

Q: Cherries: JRA Arthritis pain relief?
I have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) . I recently read that cherry juice may help me with my pain. Has anyone done this, and does it work? And can you give me a price estimate….

A: Yes, it really works, my mother-in-law uses it, it’s condensed, thick, very sweet, taste great. She gets it in the mail, I’m sorry I don’t know any more and she’s in bed, too late for me to ask.

Q: arthritis pain relief while on blood thinners?
I have advanced osteoarthritis, stenosis, fibromyalgia, etc. and have recently been taken off all pain relievers. I will be on Coumadin the rest of my life. Right now my pain is 8 out of 10. I can’t function. Does anyone have a pain relief med. that doesn’t interfere with Coumadin? I’m desperate. Thanks for any help.
I may not take common pain killers because (1)they affect the efficacy of the Coumadin and (2) they make internal bleeding much more likely. Topical ointments give only mild relief.
I have been to a pain clinic in the past, but they have treated specific areas, like my lumbar spine.
I think I need a rheumatologist who understands the problem of balancing the Coumadin side effects with the right level of safe pain meds.
Is there anyone on Coumadin who has found such a combination?

A: If your pain level is an 8 out of 10, there is probably nothing over the counter that is going to help you. I would recommend that you find a doctor that specializes in pain management and get an appointment as fast as possible. Doctors that specialize in pain management can prescribe pain killing medication that will allow you to function and they will probably put you on a number of other medications that help reduce pain such as elavil (an anti-depressant), Lyrica (helps with fibromyalgia), etc. If properly managed, pain killers don’t zonk you out and you can have a life again.

It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you find a pain management doctor you are comfortable with. Unlike other types of doctors, you can’t change doctors easily once you become an established patient. I actually saw one pain doctor that told me pain killers don’t help people and he wouldn’t prescribe them. Needless to say, I left his office without any prescriptions and did not develop a doctor/patient relationship with him.

Lastly, there is a lot of information on-line and a number of books that have been written about living with and reducing the effect of chronic pain on your life. I recommend you start looking and reading right away.

There are a lot of medications and treatments out there that can help you. Hang in there and remember, although the pain may be bad right now it doesn’t have to be forever.

Q: Does Dr. Frank’s all natural pain relief really work? Is it safe to use for arthritis pain?

A: I’ve never heard of Dr. Frank’s all-natural pain relief. If you are
looking for a natural supplement for arthritis pain — find
something that provides hyaluronic acid.

As we grow older our synovial fluid supply runs low. The main
ingredient needed to restock the synovial fluid is hyaluronic
acid.

You could swallow barrels of supplements, but they’ll never
reach your cartilage — because cartilage has no blood
supply. It get’s everything from your synovial fluid.

You can get a free report on joint health through this site:

Hope this helps.
